An upcoming game against Markham on Nov 15 was added to the schedule.
Intermediates Open Season with a Win
The 2008/09 season for the London Blizzard Intermediate team began at home this past Sunday.
From the first whistle to the last both teams traded chances and neither gave up an inch of ice in a very tightly contested match. However, with an aggressive forecheck, a goal by Cam Sinclair and some stellar goaltending by Michael Hemphill the Intermediate Blizzard knocked off the Hamilton Score 1-0.
Next action for the Intermediate Blizzard will be November 16th when they square off against the Windsor Ice Bullets at the Western Fair Sports Complex.
Exciting Junior Home Opener Starts the London Blizzard's 2008/09 Season
The junior home opener against Sarnia was an exciting start to the season!
Sarnia scored once in the first period and once in the second, to take 2-0 lead but an amazing shot by Eric Voss
in the third took us to within a goal. The combined effort of our goaltenders Kevin and Michael, were able
to hold them for the rest of the game, unfortunately we couldn't get the equalizer despite our best efforts.
This was an amazing team effort and was a great game to watch!
