2009 London Blizzard Invitational
Sledge Hockey Tournament
Friday January 23-Sunday January 25, 2009
Western Fair Sports Centre, London, Ontario, Canada
London is a vibrant city of 330 000 located between Toronto and Windsor/Detroit. It offers excellent
accommodations and amenities and is served by a major highway and an International Airport. The
Western Fair Sports Center is our host arena. It is a fully-accessible, newer facility with four ice pads, a
pro-shop, and a lounge with a small restaurant offering overhead viewing of all the ice surfaces. The
Sports Center is in the midst of a multi-purpose development which includes horse racing and slots.
APPLICATION INFORMATION
- Entry Fee:

- Team applications: Applications will be accepted in order received via the
CSTT website. . Applications are not considered complete until fees have also been paid. No space may be held via telephone, email, or by submission of application without fees. Deadline is December 1, 2008 or until
available spots are filled. Submit applications for the following divisions:
| Junior |
15 years of age and under as of Dec. 31/08. Able-bodied 14 years of age and under as of Dec. 31/08 and weighing less than 150 pounds.
The Tournament Committee may create divisions based on abilities of teams entered. |
| Intermediate |
Open to all ages. The Tournament Committee will divide Intermediate teams into divisions
based on abilities of teams entered. |
Please submit a completed application along with a cheque or money
order (in Canadian funds) payable to “Blizzard Invitational Sledge Hockey Tournament”.
- Invitations have been extended to teams from Canada, U.S.A and Internationally
- Awards for Champions, Silver and Bronze placings in each division.
- Starting at about 3 pm on Friday January 23, minimum of 3 games guaranteed plus playoffs.
- Ontario Sledge Hockey Rules will be in force for the Blizzard Invitational.
