About Us
The London Blizzard Sledge Hockey Club was formed in 1997 as a form of recreational therapy for children with physical disabilities. Since then, the club has grown to include both a Junior Sledge Development team and an Intermediate team. We work closely with the Thames Valley Children’s Centre and other healthcare organizations that support individuals with physical challenges. Our members include players with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, spinal cord injuries, amputations, accident-related injuries, and various other lower-body physical impairments.

League Overview
The Ontario Sledge Hockey Association (OSHA) is the governing body for sledge hockey in Ontario, overseeing the development and organization of the sport across the province.
OSHA represents over 20 clubs and more than 400 players, with teams located throughout much of Ontario.
The association operates three regular season leagues: Junior Sledge Development, Open, and Intermediate – providing both developmental and competitive opportunities for players of all skill levels, from beginner to elite.
Teams are grouped into regional divisions and compete in scheduled league play, with cross-over playoff games leading to divisional and provincial championships.
OSHA is a registered non-profit organization, an associate member of the Ontario Hockey Federation, and a member of Hockey Canada, ensuring all programming meets national standards for safety, inclusion, and excellence.
